These kids come to Libre Infancia 7 days a week where they receive education, daycare, nutrition, therapy and healthcare. The children we help are victims of such extreme poverty its hard for us to envision. They’re byproducts of the landfills/garbage dumps of Zona 3, in Guatemala City. Unfortunately, these are sons and daughters of people who have worked and lived in these landfills for generations, thus perpetuating a vicious cycle of poverty.
